The most important game of round 3 was a defeat of Indonesian Pelita Jaya (3-2). They were edged by Taiwanese Pilots (4-0) 66-63 on Saturday night. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pilots made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (206-1990, college: Ball St.) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Pilots' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Pelita Jaya will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. Pilots will try to continue on its current victory against Metal in Ulaanbaatar.

It was an exceptional evening for American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Efevberha accounted for 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds for Hitech in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hitech will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Kings will try to continue on its current victory against Xac Broncos at Ulaanbaatar.
In the game between Top Four teams Pilots (4-0) smashed Malaysian NS Matrix (0-5) 85-63. The best player for the winners was Jarrod Jones who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Marquez Letcher-Ellis who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pilots will meet Metal (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. NS Matrix will have a break next round.

Kings brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks.
